Baby Moses rests in his mother’s arms outside a simple Hebrew home, surrounded by his father, sister, and young brother beneath the shade of a palm. The family gathers in a tender moment before the danger of Pharaoh’s decree presses the child toward the Nile. The scene reflects the opening of Exodus, where a Levite woman bears a son, sees that he is a fine child, and hides him for three months.
